About CQI Group Inc.

In 2012, William Queen a retired special agent for the United States Justice Dept. formed the investigative agency CQI Group, Inc.  He soon thereafter brought in retired special agent Jerry Petrilli and retired High Point police Captain Jim Baldwin.  The main focus of CQI Group was to assist general contractors in the construction industries with problems encountered due to bad and unscrupulous sub-contractors.  The biggest question CQI Group had for the General Contractors was, “Why in the world did you get involved with those people”.

CQI GROUP WENT FROM REACTIVE TO PROACTIVE

CQI Group found it was better to keep the General Contractor out of trouble rather than getting him out of trouble, and so they shifted their efforts to providing information to the GC that would do just that.  If you’ve been in the business for any length of time you know what a nightmare a bad sub-contractor can be.

WHY HIRE CQI GROUP

Dunn and Bradstreet or Hoovers can provide you with impressive charts and graphs and lengthy reports concerning demographics and stock market standings, tons of useless information at a costly price and still you won’t get what you really need.  You could hire a private investigator who isn’t familiar with the industry who could provide you with what you ask, but again it’s going to be costly.  Since this is all we do, we know what you need and where to go to get it.

WHAT YOU GET

There are indicators out there that will give you a good idea whether that sub may be a problem.  We’ve been in the business long enough to learn what they are.  Sometimes just one of the indicators is enough to identify a bad sub like a serious criminal background or a sub with twenty serious liens and judgements against him.  Sometimes it’s an accumulation of indicators.  The decision is yours to make.  We provide you with what we have found is good intelligence for making sound decisions in hiring that sub.  The list includes

  • Accurate info on the business
  • Their real address
  • Telephone number
  • Incorporation information, in good standing with their state
  • Professional License information, active or not
  • How long have they been in business
  • Have they changed their business name and how many times
  • Law suits against them
  • Bankruptcy
  • Liens and judgments against them
  • Other relevant background information
  • Who really owns and runs the business
  • Do they have a criminal background
  • How many times have they been sued
  • How many liens and judgments do they have against them
  • Have they gone bankrupt
  • How many business have they formed
  • Their age and address
  • Are they really a contractor or a scam organization looking to sub out to another organization.
  • Plus information that we may have from other Contractors that would be pertinent for you.

YOUR COST

Just $47.00 is you cost for this report.  Cheap insurance for you next project.  One last thing you get..... When convencing that client that they need to use your organization, you can tell them that your sub-contractors are vetted through CQI Group.
